I have and Associates degree in business. I paid for school with a theater scholarship. I worked to pay for housing, books, food, and gas. I never had less than 18 credit hours and had 23 credit hours one semester. I was used to being busy.
I served a LDS religious mission for 18 months. I learned to speak fluent Spanish. I worked the equivalent of a 90+ hour work week. At different times I helped people paint fences, teach their children, weed their yard, and so much more. Mainly we taught the gospel of Christ and saw miracles. I thought I was busy.
I have a Bachelors degree with a major in business and a minor in Spanish. I worked part time, met my husband, was president of PBL (a business club), and a member of Deca (another business club). I started a business. I was active in my religion and was a leader in our woman's organization. I thought I knew what busy was.
Recently I have become a mother (as of June of 2011) to the most beautiful baby girl. I had repeatedly been told that I had a wonderful resume, yet somehow I was COMPLETELY clueless when it came to being a mom. I have subscribed to just about every milestone newsletter possible, talked to friend who are mothers, been through an emergency room visit, a health scare and at least 4 months of more joy than I ever thought possible. YET, I am still learning!
I want to be a stay at home mom so I can teach and enjoy time with my daughter. We have been blessed to make that dream a possibility. I don't just want to be a stay at home mom though, I want to be a SUCCESSFUL stay at home mom.
This explains everything important about my life. 1- I am a wife 2- I am a mother 3- I am an Army wife Those three things bring SUCH joy to my life! |
This is another picture that explains the joys in my life. 1- My testimony and knowledge of God 2- My amazing husband 3- My beautiful daughter I am blessed! |
